Busy Weekend...Can we set the clocks back again? Please!

These pictures got all out of order, but we had a great but busy weekend. We enjoyed a couple of Halloween parties on Friday night, a day at Dewberry Farm on Saturday and ended the weekend with a Crop Walk with the Youth group. A lot more pictures and blogging to come but I am too tired right now...stay tuned. And if your reading this on Tuesday-stop it and GO VOTE!!

Country girl!

First party stop was the Pope's. Bella had invited Zoe to her party. She had a toddler bounce house and toddler-sized trick-or-treat houses (super-cute, very Martha Stewart--great job Debbie).

Then we were off to a Haunted-House warming party at the Rogers. Jeanette made some very cute (I mean spooky!) finger foods and I got to see their cool new townhouse for the first time. It was great to chat for a few minutes, but it quickly became evident that WonderWoman needed her sleep so she could save the city on Saturday!

Sunday got off to a great start...all rested up, and didn't even take that extra hour to sleep...just got ourselves ready for worship and leisurely went off to church, later it became a day... One of those, "If anything can go wrong...it will go wrong" days. What are the odds that when you lend out your jumper cables, the next time that you try to start the car--20 minutes later, you need them. The Xtreme Disciples were on our way to the Crop Walk, when we turned the key, and heard nothing. So when the heroic Jeremy Wood stepped forward with his cables it seemed like a life saver. Red...Black...Positive...Negative. Negative...Schmegative! And the next thing we see is smoke. I had placed the cables on the wrong charge. The black rubber cables literally melted in front of us. A successful jump and then another jump at Burger King and we were on our way to the Crop Walk. It was a beautiful day...and I can't tell you how proud I am of the four youth that walked the 5k. We raised $200 dollars to fight against hunger.

All is well at the Williams Casa. Today was picture day at the pre-school. Zoe wore a cute blue dress, that, despite my ironing efforts looked like it had been wadded up in a ball by the time we got to school. She did great for the brief sitting, and I hope to post some cute results. Funny thing about the dress and shopping at popular childrens stores such as Gymboree...I saw at least 3 other girls wearing the same dress! I wish we could have lined them all up for a picture--cuteness! I shall leave you with this bath time pic.

The Ike-induced madness around H-town is starting to settle down (at least for those of us with power), and we are back to work and school. This weekend we installed a baby seat on my bike and went for a family ride. Zoe seems to really like it and it certainly doesn't hurt to add 26 extra pounds to my ride!
